Mike Prudence is technical director at Films at 59 Ltd, one of the largest video and audio post production companies in the UK. Prior to this, he worked for eight years in the high speed networks department at HP Labs, specialising in high speed network interfaces and ATM technology. In 1996, Mike joined Films at 59 to help steer the company through the increasingly complex technical workflows required for television production. He has been the architect of numerous facility upgrades, in particular to HDTV, which saw Films at 59 leading the country in terms of HD facilities and experience. He is also an active founder member of the Broadband Media Exchange network.
