Mustafa has a BEng Materials and Chemical Eng, a MSc Operations Management and Manufacturing Systems and is a Prince2 Practitioner.  He joined BAE SYSTEMS after university and undertook research work on experimental rocket motors. He then moved into project management where he managed a number of projects ranging from R&D to the construction of new manufacturing facilities. He left the Rocket Motors Business Unit and joined the BAE SYSTEMS Strategy and Planning team, taking on a number of different projects such as market development, organisational development, mergers and acquisitions and capability enhancement. Mustafa then took on a role in Business development for BAE SYSTEMS Land Systems before joining the University of Bristol. Currently Mustafa supports the Engineering Dean and Research Director in the development of strategy and planning change and manages a number of projects with industry. He also works with 3C Research as a project manager and is currently managing the ViewNet project.
